From The Woodlands, you’re minutes from Greers Ferry Lake for boating, swimming beaches, and marina time, and it’s just as easy to shift gears and spend the afternoon on the Little Red River where anglers come from all over for trout. When you want to stay on land, the Buckeye National Nature Trail near the Greers Ferry Dam gives you an easy, mostly level walk with bluff-top views over the river, plus overlooks of the dam and lake.
