Welcome to The Woodlands RV Resort

Come on in and make yourself comfortable at The Woodlands RV Resort in Heber Springs. We built this resort for folks who want lake and river days without giving up the comforts that make camp life enjoyable. Choose from concrete or gravel sites with room for bigger rigs, then spend your time doing what brought you here: Greers Ferry Lake mornings, Little Red River afternoons, and Ozark evenings under the trees. Our team keeps everything clean and ready, so you feel like you’re home from day one.

Explore Heber Springs and the Ozarks

When you stay with us here at The Woodlands, you’re right in the middle of what makes Heber Springs such a fun little getaway. Greers Ferry Lake and the Little Red River are both close, so it’s easy to bounce between marina time, swimming beaches, and casting a line for trout on cold, clear water. If you’re in the mood to hike, you’ve got a few great local options: Buckeye National Nature Trail and Mossy Bluff National Nature Trail near the dam for bluffside views over the river and lake overlooks, plus Collins Creek Trail when you want a peaceful walk in the woods. Near the dam, Buckeye National Nature Trail and Mossy Bluff National Nature Trail deliver bluffside views over the river and lake overlooks, and Collins Creek Trail is great when you want just a simple, quieter walk in the woods. For more even more options (we have over 15 trails nearby!), check out Josh Park Trail and the Sugarloaf Trail, plus quick waterfall stops at Bridal Veil Falls and Cornelius Falls for easy strolls to incredible views.

Downtown Heber Springs is also a great way to spend an afternoon, with local shops, great dining, and Spring Park where you can walk by the springs and pavilion. Then it’s back to the resort to wind down under the trees for the night.

Long Term Stays at The Woodlands

Thinking about making Heber Springs your longer-term home base? We’d love to have you. Long-term guests like having a clean, comfortable setup that keeps lake days and river time close, with town just minutes down the road for groceries, dinner, and everyday errands. It’s a great fit for remote workers, anglers chasing a season on the Little Red, and anyone who wants a consistent spot to come back to day after day. Yearly residents also get a free membership to the Heber Springs Community Center.
